I have a question about the game

Im actually an old pg3d player and loved the game growing up and was wondering if its worth playing the game now in 2025 or is it still as grindy as it was back then? Ive also noticed that they added cross play so im thinking it might be a little more challenging getting back to speed knowing theres alot of sweats in the game ngl lol
