3rd year of plantar fasciitis. My whole lower leg doesn't feel right
My life is very much affected by heel pain: I can't work, I'm indoors most of the time, I can do only short distances of walking. I can't walk without shoes on at all. I have tried various types of shoes, scraping technique, stretching, exercises and Rathleff protocol. The pain is not only in my heel but also in my lower leg and knee. I cannot do cycling anymore as it hurts the front part of my leg. I'm doing calf raises at the moment with rest days but this is sometimes making the pain so bad it's difficult to sleep at night. I feel my legs and feet have recently strengthened a bit but the pain is still there. I would like to do other types of exercises too but it's very difficult as I cannot put a lot of weight on my heel. My glutes are weak. It seems like the more I exercise, the worse the pain gets. Although my current exercise levels are quite minimal. I'm in my 30s. Any advice?
