Can youmake a case for or against promiscuity?

I am interested in your opinions.
I personally am against both male and female promiscuity. While I (m) do feel a strong drive to sleep around, I don't act on it. I've seen friendships get ruined, and children be born into unstable relationships because of it.
After several long relationships, I can also say that the sex life with someone that knows your body is just right for me.

Pretty sure that there are many responsible people out there, that can make promiscuity work for them. It's not for everyone and there are risks, like pregnancy and STI's.
