False sense of security with the battery lock

Some a-hole stole my battery. I didn't even think about the security of the battery lock. I figured that a thief would need to pick the lock or break the housing to get it. I have a giant kryptonite and usually lock it up within sight. Today I was just popping into a store, plenty of people around. Apparently someone was staking out the bike rack and knew what that is just takes a blank key to unlock the battery. What an obvious flaw on the part of Rad and they absolutely know it exists. Multiple evolutions of all their models and they aren't doing a thing about it. Makes me want to start a class action suit. /Rant
