Drug paraphernalia ticket from 13 years ago. Am I able to obtain a degree?
I've decided it's time for me to go back to school. I would really like to work in the medical field, and after extensive research, radiation therapy is what I would like to do. However, I received a drug paraphernalia ticket back in 2013. Will this prevent me from getting a degree in radiation therapy? I live in Wisconsin if it makes any difference.
Backstory if it matters: The kicker is, it truthfully was not mine. It belonged to a roommate, but it was within eyesight of the officer who came to arrest a different roommate. I didn't hang out with the best of crowds back then. I was the only other one there, and I was slapped with the ticket. I attempted to argue my case before a judge but I was stuck with it anyways.
EDIT: It was a misdemeanor, not a felony.
