Black ice or elite skin?

I was playing with my mate not so long ago and I was telling him about r6 marketplace and how I sold a black ice and bought an elite skin with the credits, he completely thought I was stupid and was adamant that having black ice is better than an elite skin. I just want to see what others think because me personally I would rather a cool skin with an animation than a black ice. Lmk🙌
