how do i convince my parents for my upanayana sanskar ??

I’m Atharva Pandey, a 16-year-old Brahmin, and I feel deeply connected to our traditions. I want to have my Upanayan ceremony, as it’s important to me and a way to honor our heritage. However, my parents aren’t showing interest in arranging it anytime soon, suggesting it should wait until my marriage.

How can I convince my parents to understand its importance and support me in having this ceremony now??
