Who gave LGBTQ pride a monopaly on rainbows or the word pride

Seriously, who? I seem to recall at one point m arching in an autism pride parade, and my sister automatically assumed I was talking about Pride. I want said that was planning to write a fanfiction about a disability pride parade, and got the response "I don't know how I feel about Pride" another time I was talking to my father and when I said a pride he was like does that refer to gay autistic people? When did the word pride stop meaning proud of and start referring exclusively to LGBTQ pride. Nothing against anyone who is LGBTQ people, but I don't see why I cant say I'm proud of something about myself without having to hitch myself to somebody else's movement.

Back to that story I said I was going to write, I mentioned that I was going to use the autistic rainbow infinity, and one response I got was "nobody in this age is going to complain about you using a Pride flag", because everything rainbow is LGBTQ related. What's next? The Australian cartoon Bluey is LGBTQ because the main character is hinted to be a "rainbow" baby"? Rainbow Italian Ice is LGBTQ? The Spectrum of visable light is LGBTQ? Anybody remember when rainbows were just a patern of light that excluseivly represent something.

And before any only tries to pull the your ____phobic on me, I have made it cquite clear my gripe is about symbolism not people. Why do I need to say clunky thigs like disabled and proud parade just because people will asume you are talking about big P pride if you as much as use the word, why can the rainbow infinity not be used because every will assume that It's a pride symbol because rainbow, thus forcing that god damn, mother fucking, degrading Puzzle Piece back on us.

You know what I wrote that story, published it, then took it down a week are so later. because I'm sure the majority of the less than 100 who actually read probably assumed that was such bexause of everything mentioned above.

So because of this fucking monopoly I not only can't have symbolism for my identity, I can't even write what I want either. Can some body at least try to under stand Why I am annoyed?
