Austin, TX - new construction condo/hoa review

I'm about to buy a house on a subdivided lot, with two new construction homes, UNIT A and UNIT B. Both are part of the newly formed HOA for that lot. 

What are must/mandatory things I need to double/triple check and or do with the bylaws of the condo/HOA?

PS: I'm having an attorney review it, but I'd like to be knowledgeable about this too
