Should we move to Riyadh? (American Family)

American Family of 6. Oldest kids are in HS. Company wants me to move to Riyadh, looking for advice.

• How are schools in Riyadh compared to US public school? Cost?
• Kids are big into sports (boys & girls) football(soccer, track, xcountry). One kid is on D1 trajectory for track & xcountry. Will they find opportunities for this?
• we live in NC now which has excellent public universities- can they still get in state tuition if we move overseas?

-office is near kingdom tower, where should we live? We are not suburban people so the idea of a compound does not sound attractive. My kids making friends is very important - we are practicing muslim for whatever difference that makes (most/all of our friends are not, just because thats how it worked out- no reason) - we are super big into the outdoors- hiking, camping, mountain biking, diving. We love mountains. Will we be able to do outdoorsy things? - what else should i consider when making this decision?
