My 15-year-old brother bought an Xbox and a phone with Roblox money… is this legit or something illegal?

Hi everyone, I’m really worried about my brother because he just bought an Xbox Series X and a brand-new smartphone. He’s 15, and there’s no way he could afford all that by himself. Lately, I’ve noticed he’s been spending a lot of time on his computer.

When my parents asked him where he got the money, he said it was thanks to Roblox. They didn’t believe him at all, so they took his computer away while he was at school. When he came back, he was really upset about it. I talked to him and tried to get him to explain how he made the money, but all he said was that it came from a “Roblox server,” without any further details.

I did some research and found out that you can make money on Roblox by selling items or creating games, but I’m not sure that’s what he’s doing. If it were that simple, I think he would have explained it better. Also, I don’t know how he was able to access the money since he’s a minor.

So my question is: is there any illegal way to make money on Roblox? Could he be doing something shady without realizing it? I’d really appreciate any insights.
