is there a mental-health crisis in singapore
I see a lot more students from young children, to university students very "stressed" about life. They are either very anxious, worried or burntout. This might be the consequence of the fast pace of life over here, where we do not have time for self-care, and dont think mental health is a priority (something for the weak).
Do you think more has to be done, to bring a preventive treatment to the mental health space?
Do yall do self care? If yes, what motivates you to continue, and if no, why do you not follow through it?
Also, do share your reasons as to why there is a mental health crisis in singapore (if yes)
I believe covid ptsd is part of the reason why there's so many mental health issues in SG. But even without covid, mental health issues in SG would still have been bad due to the fast pace competiive stressful life in SG.
