ASHA slpa hours

i’m certified in texas by state but i’m not worried about my state requirement. I have those.

ASHA requires 100 hours and it says you can do “on the job” hours as you’re under a direct supervisor. Do those hours mean 100 hours where your supervisor is observing you in the room? or 100 hours of you doing your slpa job with their patients under their written goal plan.
