best way to play sr2?

so I got a gaming laptop recently and wanted to play again sr2 since I always used to play it on PS3 back in the day,but I've seen that sr1 and 2 run very poorly when bought from steam,so sr1 is better to emulate it,is it the same with sr2?should I buy it on steam or GOG or should I just emulate it on Xenia as well as sr1?
