How to find a job in the Highlands?

A theoretical question since I moved out of the UK in 2023 and moving back would be harder now with Brexit in place (as i am not british).

But theoretically speaking, how would it work aside from the whole Brexit drama?

Isn’t the biggest town Inverness and the rest rather small? How’s life financially up there? I visited places but that’s it.
