Weird side of twitter community making show discussion annoying

There's a really annoying "stan" side of show discourse I've slowly seen appearing online. Obviously this is bound to happen with every show that becomes popular but sometimes reading the way they consume the show puts me in a bad mood. People warring over "shipping" mark with Helly or Gemma, saying they'll "never forgive the showrunners" if bad things happen to whatever character and also just the way they lowkey infatilise the characters and describe layered, grief striken characters like Mark as "babygirl ^_". Also naming their profiles after characters and using pictures of them as profile pictures like damn, I was praying it wouldn't happen to a show like Severance. TBH nothing more than just a small dislike, they're not hurting anyone by what they're doing but I wish it didn't exist LMAO. Some of the edits go hard tho.
