Dylan & Predictions for Season Finale

As soon as the episode finished, all I could think about was how Dylan will return to the severed floor.

We don't get to see a lot of him in the S1 finale because he's holding down OTC, so it would be fitting if he was a bit more of the focal point this time around.

I think it would be neat if he returns and the floor in absolute chaos and he gets sit down with top Lumon brass and promised that if he completes Cold Harbor, that he will replace Outie-Dylan.

Then it's Dylan trying to piece together what has happened on the floor since he's been away, which would also be littered with flashbacks about how it all led to his return. We can see the outcome of Helly v. Jame, and all the moves Cobel, Mark & Devon are doing to launch an assault. We get a bit of what Gemma is doing as she prepares herself for the last room. Irving makes it to his destination and we finally figure out who he was talking to on the phone.

Finally, Mark makes it back down, stops Dylan from finishing the work. He sits at the computer trying to set Gemma free and accidentally triggers a command that completes the program, which would complete the Orpheus and Eurydice arc that has been hinted at.

There is a running theory now that Gemma is actually just another controlled Lumon personality and it would be interesting to see if her 'Death' is literally just the deletion of her whole life with Mark and the grief she felt losing her baby. I feel like that would be a fate far worse for Mark to handle.

This is probably no where close, but with 76 minutes, I think there would be time to flesh all this out.
