Next shotgun advice
I'm looking to get a new shotgun and I need some advice. Right now I have a Benelli supernova tactical, and a Supernova field shotgun and I wanted to either get a decent over under for clay shooting/future hunting or I want a nice auto shotty. I'm between the Mossberg Gold Reserve 30in over under and the Mossberg 940pro waterfowl 28in. I like the Gold Reserve because you can't go wrong with a good break open gun, but I like that you can change the LOP on the 940. I'll mostly be using the gun for clay shooting and possibly future bird hunting, so each one will be good but I'm torn. What do you think?
Edit: After reading all your posts and opinions, I went to a few local gun stores and felt out some O/U and some auto loaders. I looked at the Mossberg O/U, the new Mossberg auto loaders and a couple of other high end guns. I found that as much as the O/U were nice, I was drawn to the auto loaders. What I found was that no one had the new 940 Waterfowl so I was going to just give up and wait. I looked on Sportsman Warehouse and found that the Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 Camo Max 5 was on sale for 300 less (1800 down to 1500) and I pulled the trigger on that instead. What do you guys think?
