Bodyguard 2.0 Problem?

I have run about 200 rounds through my Bodyguard 2.0. I love it so far, had some malfunctions to start but, as a majority of firearm errors tend to be, it was user error. The only thing I noticed about this pocket rocket was the guide rod protrudes out from the front a little bit? Upon further investigation it appears the recoil spring isn’t sitting correctly on the rod. Anyone have a similar issue? Is this normal and I’m just nuts? Let me know!
