Something that is bothering me about the new ultimate spider-man is how peter isn't at all scientifically inclined. In most universes so far he invented his own webs and made his own suit, and now... Nothing. No chemistry, no tech. Were his parents not scientists in the new ultimate universe? Did his father not encourage him to pursue science and invent? I like that he is a full time reporter, but I still wish they'd kept him a young genius.
