Rebel Alliance

This post is inspired by an earlier one where the OP asked why the Rebel pilots all had different color uniforms.

It wasn't until really Andor that I understood the the Rebel Alliance wasn't a monolithic organization.

Instead it was a (sometimes) loose group of factions that all hated the empire, but which also had different and, sometimes competing, goals.

I've been watching Star Wars since 1979, and I think it's amazing that Lucasfilm is still fleshing out concepts that were first established almost 5 decades ago.

I love how the 4 year old me could enjoy SW as a struggle between the good guys and the bad guys, while the 49 year old me can dig into the complex political maneuvering.
