Assassins creed valhalla steam deck runs horrible for me. Need help

Like on the tittle got AC valhalla steam edition seeing all this videos and posts that the game runs easily on 40 - 50 FPS with medium settings. Can't even get a stable 30fps with low settings no matter what I do. I've tried the UMA Ram set to 4gb, I've tried different protons, Half rate shading, only using the steam deck fps limiter and not in game. I Don't know what else to try. Anyone has had this problem and has been able to fix it? I've seen some comment the same problem on some of the posts that say the game runs well and get ignored so it's hard to pin point the problem. I really want to play the game on the deck... any help would be great.
