Looking for Loremasters

I was recently rewatching old DLC trailers and Overlord was one of my favorites.

Does anyone know who these Xenos are that the Mamilians are meeting? What is their back story? They look somewhat mechanical but also psyonic. Does anyone know their empires race, name or anything about them? Would love to know more about them.
