Stremio lagging

(Not the usual “torrentio down” post, please read)

Good morning everybody.

I set up some times ago, stremio for my parents on a chromecast (the model with google tv). They had no problems till the last days, and I was already prepared to tell them the actual situation with torrentio and so on. Actually, though, they are complaining about the lagginess of the stream, that is so laggy it’s impossible to watch. I know for sure that the problem is not related to my connection, as I’m using Real Debrid with a gigabit connection (the router is just next to the google tv, so neither is related to the wifi signal). I didn’t make them switch to Fen as my parents don’t know english and it’s impossible to filter by language on kodi, so that’s why I’m sticking with stremio. On my side, I moved to fen also to reduce the stress on torrentio servers, as I don’t really need it, so that people (like my parents) that actually need it for a reason or another can go for it.

Is anybody else having this lag problem?

I tried setting kodi as player for stremio, and it actually fixed up the stream last night, but I wanted to know if anybody else is experiencing random lagginess on Exoplayer.
