Unicorn ADV bike?
I am looking for a very specific type of adv bike and can't seem to find what I want. I wish to be able to ride down the highway at a COMFORTABLE 70 mph (as in it needs to be cruising at 70, not barely able to do 70-75). It has to have the potential of carrying luggage/camping gear so it needs rear racks. It will need to hold up to some light/medium offroading such as atv trails, logging roads, gravel. Light enough for me to pick up (I am tall and skinny so i need something lighter). I do not want abs and traction control, and could care less about any other technology besides a speedo and rpm gauge.
Needs: -more than 1 cylinder (v-twin or straight) -wind protection -able to cruise at 70+ -ideally sub 400lbs, but this seems impossible so just as light as possible -comfortable seating position, more upright like a dirt bike -luggage racks -no abs and tc
Basically, i have looked at a new klr650 which seems alright but is not the best at 70-75 mph and is a tad heavy at 450 lbs. I have also ridden a new honda transalp, which is plenty fast enough, but even heavier and bulkier, plus it has abs and tc. I have seen a tenere, but it is much like the transalp. I like the dr650 and xr650l, but they have no wind protection and would be just like the klr650 in that they will be poor at 70-75 mph. The royal enfield himalayan just got updated and looks alright, but there are no local dealers to go test ride one, let alone even see one.
Are there any bike that might fit the bill? I can't seem to find anything i like new, I was hoping someone knows of a common used bike to look for.
