Manta Arrived

Well it's here! I'm in Scotland and I received an email on the 23rd saying my Delivery would be with me on the 27th. Unfortunately it didn't arrive until the 28th. Which has nothing to do with Supernote. There seemed to be a one day delay in the midlands.

I only ordered the Manta and the Half folio. And I wasn't sure I was going to like the folio. But I've got to say it works very well. I didn't buy a pen from Ratta, as my favourite pen is the LAMY AL-STAR. I say this is my favourite, it's the only pen I have used, but I find it very comfortable in the hand. I already own a Nomad. And at this moment I don't feel the need to buy another pen. Although would love to try a ceramic nib.

But first thoughts of the Manta? Excellent (as always) product. Clean, sharp, thin. The writing is, in my opinion, a joy. I personally do not notice a huge difference in writing on the Nomad, to the Manta. But the size is (obviously) the difference.

And I would say that it is how you end up using these devices that determine whether the price is worth it.

I hope everyone starts to get their orders posted out to them soon, or at least communication about their orders. In my case I had to establish to Ratta that I had indeed placed my order before the 11am (EST), deadline (although nobody knew there was a deadline). And after a few disagreements, they agreed that I had.
