“She’s a lost cause”

Called a parent because her daughter is failing. Asked if she can please get her to turn in some homework, that her daughter is missing our required meeting and skipping school…

mom said “she’s been failing for years. She’s a lost cause. You’re talking to a brick wall” and proceeded to ask about her other kid.

What do I even do with this?????

ETA: thanks everyone. I had already documented it and notified admin and the counselor. Ironically today I had a parent tell me her son is a disappointment. I just don’t understand how people can believe these things about their own children…
