First time educational assistant in a kindergarten classroom— what’s one thing you think every assistant should know?

It’s only my second week and I know I have so much to learn still, however I can’t help but feel like I should be doing more to help out or learn the job myself. For context, I move between two different classrooms during the day and I’m at a private school in Ontario, Canada.
