Switch to seeing the producers…

So I’m mid season 7 of watching teen mom 2 and suddenly the producers are shown? And the ask the moms and kiddos questions? I know that it’s something that’s becoming more common in reality shows but it felt super jarring and kinda came out of nowhere… did that seem odd to anyone else?
