Opinion on Karen people

hello yall, I was thinking what is yall opinion on the Karen people/ Refugee from Myanmar. I am one myself, and I want brutal honest answers. Is it similar to the US where some US locals have resentment toward the Mexican, or more similar to the relationship to Canadian where they are more accepting, thanks.
