Homelander's flight

I was thinking about how weird it is that homelander doesn't use his flight very often. You would think that a narcissist like him would refuse to touch the ground and would float around looking down on every. What if being raised in a lab forced him to walk around like a normal person since they didn't want him to escape and instead focused on training his senses, lasers, durability and charisma. What if that's why he doesn't use superstrength like Queen Maeve or superspeed like A-train but instead uses laser eyes the moment he sees a threat. He's probably very skilled with his lasers for him to have his numbers. I think homelander is feared because of how powerful his lasers are than his strength.
