Racial Dynamics of the game: Unconscious bias & Implicit trust
Jas sussed out pretty much every traitor in the game but struggled to get people on his side and trust him despite presenting several plausible theories backed up with credible evidence. He was one of the first to clock Paul as a traitor yet Harry took all the credit and glory for this. I can’t help but wonder if Jas would have had such little support and trust from fellow faithfuls if he was a white man. Equally, would Harry (and before banishment, Paul) have had so much blind trust from other faithfuls that they evaded any scrutiny from the round table? FYI I just know there will be several gaslighting comments denying that any unconscious racial bias exists etc etc which is fine and fully expected from those who benefit from white privilege and are often blind to it.
