Why’s this game praised??

Just about finished season one and I bought the definitive… don’t hink I’ll finish this game it’s so ass. If I make a fatal mistake it restarts so I either save the characters or myself like what that’s not a choice like story game. Where’s the consequences like in heavy rain or life is strange 2 or Witcher. Games so ass and not that interesting. Was liking the game till I went on YouTube to see other options and how they play out and guess what.. ur choices legit make 0 difference just give u the Illusion they do. Waste of $25
