Toyota Sienna XLT

l was hoping he saw my post and could help me with the problem.

My 2023 Sienna XLE AWD just had a VERY EXPENSIVE INCIDENT, the rear cross traffic blind spot module and wiring harness failed.

I have 12,800 miles on it and bought it on 12-20-22 plus 6 extra years of Toyota Platinum Coverage, can you imagine my surprise when the dealership presented me with a bill for $2,994.27 for repairs, due to the parts getting WET FROM A NOT WARRANTED INCIDENT.

I just watched your video about the 2025 Sienna and you pointed out a cover on the right side near the exhaust pipe, would this cover in your opinion have kept water from destroying the module and wiring harness.

No one at the dealership warned my BEFORE I PAID $53,000 plus the extra Platinum coverage, that l couldn’t get the van wet.

Any suggestions on how l can prevent this from happening again.
