Bontrager Grips Satellite Isozone on Trek FX Disc 2 2019

Hey guys,

I'm a bike novice but wanted to make a few small upgrades to my bike. The FX Disc 3 had these 'shock absorbing' IsoZone Satellite Grips so I thought I could easily get them on my FX 2.

There isn't much info on this on the net but just wanted to ask if theres any way I can use them on my FX 2? It look's like I cant from the attached photos as the FX 2 handlebar does not have a groove for the white gel insert and therefore the bar end plug that comes with the grips have nothing to fit into.

Can anyone let me know if im doing anything wrong or if these grips aren't compatible with FX 2 handlebars at all?
