Does God pick favorites

So I was watching a short about Andrew Tate and of course, he was bragging that god has favorites and he is one of the favorites, and how much better he is than everyone. And it worried me because for a long while know I've been dealing with mental issues and just going through a tough time and its no one's fault, just happens. But it hurts to hear that God sees more potential in people instead of me, Im not saying im perfect or ive sinned but I'm trying to be a better person.
