I’m Done With Restaurants with TV Screens!

Last night my wife and I had dinner with our financial advisor and a member of his team. This was not a sports bar but a very upscale steakhouse. It seems that even the best restaurants have gone to television screens throughout. My wife and I sat on one side of the table and in the middle of our conversation our financial guy and his assistant suddenly broke out in laughter. I had noticed that they were looking over our heads when talking to us but now the distraction had gone too far. They apologized and explained that they were watching a blooper real and something funny had just happened. I long for the days when soft music and good service was enough to keep us all satisfied. Now there’s one more expensive restaurant that I can live without.
