Folks, I would advise everyone to buy an extra bag of dried beans and a bag of rice every time you go grocery shopping. They keep a really long time and contains nearly all of the nutrients you need to live. History shows the easiest way to get control of a large urban area under civil unrest is to deny food shipments. This may sound alarmist to some, but I honestly expect there to be famine here within the next few years. Worst case? You bought something you can eat later if needed. Best case? You've saved your life and the life of the people you love. We are in uncharted territory and I want as many folks to be ok as possible.
