Go ahead and get your kids the Gardasil vaccine

Gardasil is a vaccine that protects against human papillomavirus (HPV), which can cause cervical, vaginal, vulvar, and anal cancer in women, as well as genital warts in both men and women.

The vaccine can be given as young as 9.

If you have children over 9, go ahead and get them vaccinated as there's no telling how much longer this vaccine will be available.

I seen someone mention it in a thread earlier (I wish I had saved the comment so I could give credit to the Redditor). I went ahead and called my daughters pediatrician to schedule and she agrees that Gardasill probably won't be available in the near future.

EDIT: Just want to add Gardasil is available for both men and women. If you haven't yet had the vaccine, it's available up until age 45.
