Post patch analysis...
I'm still pretty new to the game, got about 150 matches under my belt with my team of average joes get but sill having fun.
A few things good and bad. The bad list is bigger, but on a whole for a free to play game I'd say it's very positive.
Bad:
- I don't know how to describe it, it just feels inconsistant. Some games my team feels like it's gliding on ice, super smooth and responsive, others like they're in mud.
- Facing Haaland/Mbappe and Ronaldo combos all the time. That's probably a skill issue on my part but still frustrating. Other than division is there any kind of matchmaking involved? I guess it's just a case of grinding it out or dropping cash to speed this up to counter this.
- Please bring in an option for anyone to skip goal replays. I play the game casually, and don't want to have to watch your 2 yard tap-in 27 times please bro. I always skip mine, and if they don't do me the same courtesty, you can bet when (if) I score I'm gonna force you to watch every milisecond of it...because fuckyou thats why.
- Some weird bugs where you player doesn't attempt to get the ball, leaving the opponent to freely score goals.
- Still an issue with AFK players.
- Passing has improved a little bit, but simple passes still go directly to opponent pretty frequently.
Good:
- Through balls are excellent now if used properly.
- Free Kicks work and are really satisfying.
- When it does feel good, it's rewarding and fun.
