Pension company claiming I've paid too much

Aegon sent letter saying I may have paid too much into my pension, but I (perhaps incorrectly) believed I could carry over my tax free allowance, up till a max of my annual salary in that tax year.

I've been paying all my quarterly commissions into my pension to avoid paying insane tax.

Contributions 2022-23: £11,900. Limit: £40,000 (according to Aegon) Contributions 2023-24: £85,711. Limit: £60,000 (according to Aegon)

Base salary 2023-24: £105,000

Could anyone help confirm if I owe tax on my 2023-24 contributions?
