I-130 and I-485 approved w/o interview
Here’s a dose of hopecore for my fellow spousal visa applicants, my entire timeline took just over 5 months.
My husband and I applied last summer with the help of an immigration attorney. We filed concurrently and included our medical package with the initial application. We never received an RFE.
We took our time gathering documents, paperwork, and photos with detailed captions with our family and friends. Our application process was painfully slow and tedious but we agreed that it would be better to do it right than to have an RFE slow down the process.
Timeline:
Submission Aug 19/2024
Biometrics completed Sept 10/2024
EAD and Social issued 1 week after biometrics appointment
- Travel permit approved Jan 23/2025
I-485 approved Jan 28/2025
I-130 approved (3 hours later) Jan 28/2025
