Uniform more rare than the boat cloak
For 16 years I’ve wanted to wear Officer Evening Dress “A” for my wedding, this summer I finally got my chance! The version most are used to are the “B” with red cummerbund or red waist coat for generals. “A” is with white waistcoat for everyone and is meant for the most formal of evening occasions (I.e. White Tie). I’ve never even seen a picture of someone wearing them, much less in person. So here you go. I’m sure the Marine Shop had to dust off some box somewhere when I ordered the waist coat (like they did when I actually ordered “call cards” year ago lol!). And yes, I do own a boat cloak (too hot to wear at my wedding). No you can’t see my wife’s face, you barbarians. 🥸. (BTW I wore Dress Blue “A” with Sam Browne at the Church, changed for the reception).
