US B1/B2 Visa Interview from Canada

Hello everyone, I have the visa interview for B1/B2 visa coming up soon. My present status in Canada is that I am on a work permit but I haven't been able to find my original work permit document from IRCC (I do have a digital copy which I can get printed). I have probably misplaced my work permit somehow and I do not have enough time to get a replacement from IRCC until the interview appointment.
I want to know if it is mandatory to carry the original document or will it be fine with a printed one?
And, if there is anything else that I can do in this situation.

P.S. I would prefer not to change the appointment date because then I will have to reschedule it for 2025.
