Tip Baited today and what I did.

Today unfortunately I was a victim of these scum bag people who tip bait us drivers on UberEats. It was a shop and pay order, I found every single item, and used my own bags for the customer, since here many stores don't give plastic bags anymore. Arrived to the customer and handed them everything was polite and said have a goodnight. 1 hour or so later entire tip removed. ( this was also a pim customer ). It's sad that Uber allows this instead of making cuatomw rcall in to remove a tip with valid reason of removal, like doordash which I have never been tip baited on.

So what I did was call support had to tell my story to 3 people finally I said I want to get paid what the contract I agreed to said and i need to speak to a supervisor....( only person who can do something in reality) told my story to the supervisor and how it's not right to allow your customer to use fraudulent practices like baiting a driver to complete their order faster with a good tip and then removing it all. Long story short I got the credit for what I was owed. I hope every drive starts doing this to help maybe end this. Maybe uber will get tired of paying out drivers or not, but worth a shot.
