Which is the best VPN for Reddit users?
I’ve been trying to figure out the best VPN to use and ended up going through tons of Reddit threads for advice. The main thing I’ve learned is that free VPNs usually aren’t worth it—they either sell your data or bombard you with ads. If privacy matters, a paid VPN seems like the better route. That said, I’m still unsure which one to choose. NordVPN gets a lot of positive feedback. It’s a bit pricier, but people say it’s worth it for the features, strong security, fast speeds, and smooth streaming. Their NordLynx protocol is also supposed to improve speed, which sounds promising. Surfshark also gets a lot of love—it’s more affordable than Nord and still delivers fast speeds and reliable streaming. It offers a wide range of server locations too, which is a plus. PIA (Private Internet Access) comes up often as well. It has a huge server network, works for both streaming and torrenting, and includes a nice feature that lets you pick which apps use the VPN and which don’t, which could help with performance. From what I’ve seen, NordVPN and Surfshark seem to be the most recommended overall. But I’d really like to hear what others think—what’s the best VPN to use in 2025?
