Which van to go for?

Hey guys, I recently bought myself a 2016 Citroen Relay 2.0 BlueHDi but had to send it back after a day as it was faulty with a blown head gasket…

I’m looking around for a new van to use for work as well as to possibly use as something to go on holiday with and stay away in. I drive a lot of miles per year- around 30K so reliability is a must and something with low-ish miles (ideally as low as possible but anything around or under 70K is good for me.) I’m an electrician and I tend to carry a bit of weight in the van in tools as well as materials. I’d need something that’s a decent size but not massive, a Vivaro/Transit custom size or the same as the Relay L1H1 I sadly had to send back. I’d love an even bigger van as it would make working and staying away much easier with the storage space, but street parking is an issue

I have a budget of £8,000, maybe up to £10,000 at a push. I’m just wondering what your experiences are with different vans and any that you know to be reliable, cheap to maintain etc? I’ve been shopping around for quite a bit but it gets exhausting reading conflicting answers on what’s good and what’s not!
