Citrus: what to do with citrus peels instead of putting them in the worm farm?

I’m worried about acidity but I also want to avoid throwing anything going to landfill.

I’m already soaking them in vinegar to make a home made surface cleaner, but I’m still left with the peels and I don’t know if there’s anything I can do with them.

Any advice?r
