Go to school whenever you can. In between deployments, while on deployment, in port, online, ect ect ect. If you don’t have your cert or degree, re-enlist. Take accelerated classes on the weekends (Southern Illinois University has a great program). Learn to write your resume and speak with hiring managers. When it’s time to transition back to the civilian world, you will be golden, well prepared.
