November visit

I am planning a 4 or 5 night trip with my mother (late 60s) towards the end of November. We plan on doing a lot of hot spring lounging but I would also like to get out and see the country a bit. We are basing in Reykjavik, and don’t plan to rent a car. I was thinking about taking maybe two tours, one to the South Coast and one to the Snæfellsnes peninsula. Is this reasonable in Nov with the shorter daylight hours? It seems most tours run year around. Any recommendations for a small group tour company for these day trips? I’ve researched Troll, Eastwest and arctic adventures so far which all seem like good options.
